Puffins of Borgarfjordur Eystri – Guided visit to Hafnarhólmi
On this tour, you will visit the Hafnarholmi area, home to a large puffin colony and known as one of the best puffin watching areas in the world. Accompanied by a local guide, take advantage of the viewing platform and specially made steps enabling you to get close to these beautiful birds. There will be plenty of time to take the perfect picture before heading to the harbor to get a glimpse of the traditional everyday life of the fisherman in the area and head to the local fish factory where you can opt to try a lovely fish soup at the café (payable locally).
